Sorry if you feel tricked, but the delay will result in a special super-update next week (on Halloween).
In the meantime, here’s a treat from Tom:

Also, help me think! I haven’t had the time to think of a historical, dead musician who’s infamous for violence and aggression. (I mean, I know a few, but they’re not as old-school as I’d like.) If you can think of anyone around the time frame of 50′s to early 70′s by Friday, give me a shout! The winner will receive a pretty picture of their nominee as they shall be depicted in Glam Rock Gorilla.
As far as 50s debauchers go, I would say Jerry Lee Lewis, aka “The Killer.” But I think a pivotal violent rock band was The Who. The guitar-smashing, the drugs, the fights, the explosives, the throwing cars into swimming pools. Keith Moon, for sure.
We have of course elvis, which should be pretty obvious, besides that we have Jim morrison.
Or perhaps the we’re just drug abuse.
Jerry Lee Lewis is still alive, so he’s out. How about Dave Alexander and Ron Asheton from the Stooges? John Bonham?
Was Bing Crosby around in the 50′s?
